HIGH: Picked up brushes again and started goofing with art again. I probably shouldn't post this because I'm in the early steps of a planned larger work of at least 24 - 30 small canvases. They will be a series of miniature iconic images that will represent a personal lexicon of sorts.

None of these are near finished (well, the one on the right is getting close) and will include dimensional bits that I've made.

Terry, I love this. I'm excited to see where you go with it.

Stupid busy, and I mistimed the amount of time I would need to finish a four page comic for my girlfriend's fashion class. She's happy with it, but I keep seeing things I could and should have done better.

And yes. In fact everything is recycled, sort of. The 'new' fabric is sourced from fellow designer's offcuts, and she's also used vintage clothing that was beyond repair, and electrical-goods.

She's pretty talented (though she wanted me to point out that Leeloo was the tights [named after the 5th Element character] and SZN is the dress/costume/corset looking thing - she was a little worried people might be confused).

Also:

Low: Lack of sleep. And my housemate just found out he has a tax bill because his work made an admin. error. And then he got the flu and is running a fever.

High: Made it through a work presentation. And going to a screening of the new Spider-Man, put on by one of the local comic shops. Have put together a pretty funny costume for it too.
