IMO Yes and no...
I don't mind the cliffhanger of Jessica being tired of her child being in danger but the Dark Avengers/Osborn stuff wrapped up too quickly for me. It would have been nice to know some of what Osborn/DA had planned besides defacing the Avengers in the media.
Like what was some of Osborn's goals? Why did he have to back in power so badly? I loved how Siege ended with him saying the world is a mess and he was the only one who could fix it. It made it seem like Bendis was building towards something...

What do you mean creature? X-Men have saved the world more times than you have Ozzy. Just stupid barbaric racism is making them villians.

The Hulk will not one day decide to destroy everything he sees. Even at his worst Maestro knew HUMANITY would destroy themselves. Maestro just took what was left and actually saved humanity. Sure he set him self up asa meglomanical despot..but still!
Frank Castle is not as insane as others have written him. He's methodical. He kills someone he makes sure they deserve to die. Also Punisher usually sticks with criminals. When was the last time Castle (in continuity) did a political killing?
The way Bendis writes the Avengers yeah. They don't seem to be competent. I remember the days when they did research. They figured out what the hell was going on, who was behind it, and deal with it. The New Avengers not so much. But lately, and I'm sick of this, I feel as though they have all been dumbed down to make the big bads like Osborn all that. Which is an insult to the characters and the readers.
You do not know the fucking mind of Doom you douche bag Osborn! Don't dare to assume the mind of DOOM!

All I'm saying is with all these predictions that he threw out, whether possible or not, in Osborn's mind he's the hero trying to save the world. I wish we would have seen more of that during this arc instead of him just trying to take down the Avengers. Maybe have him pick up on something that he didn't get to complete from all his List one shots or something to that point. We didn't get to see the Osborn I mentioned in this story arc at all. That's what I'm saying. I don't believe anything he stated was true...well Civil War was started by the wrong hero pushing the wrong villain too far...and the X-Men don't get half the credit they deserve.
Yeah I know. I just like insulting Lex Luthor Osborn.
