Let's say Germany is the first of the economic powerhouses that gets more energy from green sources than from nuclear plants
Rejoice with me, fellow humans!
Why, you ask?
Because, as of today, Germany will be the first country on the planet that produces more green than nuclear energy! (of those that have access to both forms)
Sure, it's only for a short while so that the plants can be maintained. But that doesn't change that right now, 13 of our 17 nuclear plants are off the grid, some of them will stay that way, and the lights are on all okay.
Who needs nuclear fusion, eh?
Unless Norway gets more from their tidal plants...
