I certainly can't take any more taxation
The Democrats want to raise taxes and increase spending.
The Republicans want to cut programs with no tax increases.
Two widely divergent positions. Probably both are unrealistic to a degree.
I certainly can't take any more taxation
"Our history suggests it's better to open the road to riches for those Americans than to raid the gold pot at the end of it."
True enough.
This "tax the rich" crap Obama cranks out is counterproductive.
However... I have no problem raising taxes on oil companies. Their profits are so obscene to begin with, they can handle an increase.
Also have no problem raising taxes on corporations that farm out jobs overseas. On the flip side,if they bring jobs back to the U.S. , giving them a break on taxes would be an incentive.
The oil companies give Obama big money to keep the heat off them. It's why BP is drilling in the Gulf again

Fawlty just has a pointy head
"Our history suggests it's better to open the road to riches for those Americans than to raid the gold pot at the end of it."
Wake up!
"Our history suggests it's better to open the road to riches for those Americans than to raid the gold pot at the end of it."
Well im here to hardly work
