Dude, it takes like 4 minutes unless you're loading/removing a massive amount of music.

Or unless iTunes decided not to detect your iPod. Which is something that happened to me every time they updated iTunes.

All these companies suck. If Apple can fit 64gbs in there now, I guarantee you they can fit at least twice that in there already. But they want me to buy two products instead of one. And I will, because my 2 year old iPod is starting to fall apart -- just as they've designed it to. Lucky I still have my 80gb iPod classic laying around while I wait for the iPhone to ship.

HTC is the same way. They could have way more memory in there, and could have with the previous model. They could have put 1080p HD video recording in the previous model, but they wanted everyone to want the upgrade. I've been waiting for the new HTC because I've been so impressed with a friend's, but the small memory is just not an acceptable lack of a strong feature to me.
