Thoughts after the finale.

A) Tyrion is making me think prostitution is awesome.

B) Daenerys naked and ashy covered in dragons turned me on more than I have ever been in my life. Weird.

My mom liked the show so much she borrowed the first book off of me.

With minute changes, the show translated the entire first (prologue) and last chapters. And did well to do that.

Not ending with silly cliffhangers was a very, very good choice on the part of the producers.

HBO’s Game of Thrones has made its first casting hire for season 2:
Natalie Dormer, who memorably played the seductive and doomed Anne Boleyn on Showtime’s The Tudors, has been added to the fantasy drama’s regular cast.
Dormer will play Margaery Tyrell,

Hmmmm she didn't really have very much of a role until the 3rd book, did she? I suppose they could compress some fo the 3rd book into the 2nd.

So Dynamite solicited the first issue of comic adaptation of the first book, and at the end of the blurb, it says Game of Thrones has HBO's highest ratings to date? Is that true? I didn't think it had beat out True Blood.
