Thread: Oh, Man!

    Oh, Man!

We had such a fun dinner at a Chinese restaurant tonight, near our hotel.

It was me, my hubby, Dan Slott, Ethan, his brother Noah and Noah's lovely girlfriend, Nicola Scott and her lovely hubby Craig.

The food was insanely good, and we invited a couple of the Survivor people to come with us, they went to the restaurant, went out to smoke, and DIDN'T COME BACK! hahahahahahaa, oh, my god, that's the funniest thing ever.

Anyway, we talked about comics and politics and ate a lovely meal and it was the most fun ever, the perfect end to a really lovely convention. Then we walked to the park where they had video displays up for a festival in town. It was baffling.

It was a great night. I like my new "shut down the moment" theory.

As for the video art display, I'm glad you were baffled too. I love photography, I love video monitors, and I love laying in beanbag chairs in the park at night. But I must say, the photos they were showing looked like the pictures that come in store bought frames, and so getting people to sit in beanbag chairs at night to silently gaze at them was more of an art piece than the actual art.

Or maybe that was the point? I don't know. It was cute.

    So is Dan Slott.

Did Scott and Etahn vote them off the table while you weren't looking?
