Who else got The New West?

    I thought it kicked ass.

I was really impressed with Palmiotti's chops as a storyteller here, way moreso than on Beautiful Killer. He set up a couple interesting characters, couple interesting scenarios. Nice Dialouge, Really good Premise.

And Noto's art was beautiful as per usual.

This book was on the bottom of my to read pile but I was surprised how much I dug it.

    thoughts?

    Cool.

Apparently you're going to be in a small & exclusive club of people who picked this up.

you know these high priced single issue multi part books, shoot themselves in the foot, by their high cover price.

i'd rather get the whole story for 15 bucks than pay 5 bucks twice waiting for the story to end.

    it's 2 issues , right?

it's 2 issues but it think it was less than $4... holon I 'll check the list.

[Edit] You're right, it was $5. Wow. Damn comics, taking advantage of my not paying attention. Now I'm really glad it was good.

I enjoyed it. I love Noto's art, and pick up everything he does.
Was pleasantly surprised by the story. Dan's a great character.
I think the dialogue was well done. Looking forward to the conclusion.
Actually think there's enough going on for it to have been longer, say a four issue mini...unlike many comics these days, where arcs often feel
like they go on a couple issues too long.
