    Dear Mr Slott...

Thank you so much for ASM 655.

I haven't been a Spider-Man reader for a very long time. I hopped into with the Brand New Day hoopla and decided to stay and keep reading.

I literally just finished reading it and it completely floored me. Marcos killed on it, you killed on it and seeing Uncle Ben and Marla and Captain Stacy and Gwen and everything that went on in it. Every page and every moment in it was really heartfelt. Peter's guilt was so palpable it was dripping from the page to my fingers.

So I just wanted to say thank you so much for such a great comic. I'm waiting anxiously for the next one.

    Keep up the great work.

Yes, I have a Tumblr. Shut up about it!

I picked this up because of your enthusiasm on Wordballoon.

    Wow. This book really delivers.
It really shows how far the comic industry and art form have come.

If this book had come out in the 80s, it would have stopped everyone dead and we would still be talking about it today.

This one just floored me. Thank you so much.

    Re: Dear Mr Slott...

I just read #698 and it was literally the first Spider-Man comic I've read since around the time of Venom's first mini-series. When I lapsed back into comics I became a DC fan, and have taken the opportunity to pick up maybe 4 Marvel NOW! titles (including the two Fantastic Four books). And I picked up ASM #698 based on various article headlines that implied some buzz. Boy, am I glad I picked this thing up. I can't think of a single comic that was so much fun in this way that it was a great issue to begin with (even having not read an issue in decades) but even better the second time I read it with the information of the late reveal
