Good news, but no one is asking how has this happened? I thought reporting things like this, rather than spoilers and reports on other media, was Rich Jonhnston's wheelhouse...

Didn't mean for that to be so..whatever..but still, there is a big story in this blog blurb that someone needs to discover and report on.

I know of this by reputation and am blind buying it based on the praise heaped upon it. I also like Morrison so that helps as well.

So last I knew there were legal tangles involved with this, when were those resolved? Any information on that?

It's coming direct from DC so it is legit.

Don't know the story behind it happening though. Like you said Rich is probably all over it. I'd be curious to see what has changed.

    About time!

But, yeah... How did they get past the legality?

Wow, I can't believe it's finally happening. Perfect timing too, because I've worn out my copies flipping through them and reading them so damn much. Thanks again Tip!

That's what I wanna know. It seemed to be a pretty bulletproof legal thing where it simply wasn't to be reprinted because of the Charles Atlas homage or whatever you want to call it. Unless they changed their minds or agreed to a settlement.

My understanding was that DC didn't have to not reprint the book, but they decided not to a show of good faith to the Atlas estate. Maybe they've just decided to say "Screw it."

I never thought it was false or DC was doing anything questionable.

But this is a huge deal. I once said that the fact that your average (and honest) modern comic fan cannot read Alan Moore Miracleman or have it for their bookshelf for a reasonable price was one of the greatest wrongs in the comics industry. And the unavailability of Flex Mentallo (especially in the context of Morrison's Doom Patrol which you can read in its entirety) has to be in the top ten list of wrongs, but now that seems to be changing also. So I'd just like to know how this came to be.
