She apparently rendered one of the enemies brain dead and then casually gave an article of it's clothing to Beast Boy as a souvenir, so I'm guessing he broke up with her because she was becoming increasingly violent, or something.

We'll have to see about that, in regards to the reasoning. That said, having the boy break up with the girl for non-scumbag reasons (as it seems right now) is a refreshing change of pace. Normally that's only the case with the women, perpetuating the stereotype that men want only physical things out of a relationship.

Also gotta say, this is the first presentation of Adam Strange that I actually like.

My theory (Which, of course, is the one you all need to pay attention to), is that M'gann went a little bit dark only after the break-up.

The impression I had was that Conner broke up with M'gann because he believed that it would be bad for her to stay in a relationship with him (A "I'll only hold you back" kind of thing). After that she thought that she had to "grow up" (I can easily picture part of the breakup being Conner lambasting her for trying to live in a sitcom, which he had brought up in "Terrors" before they became a couple) and so stopped trying to live by the "childish" resrictions of "No, killing, no harming, etc."

I kind of got the impression that M'gann going dark was brand new, as in after her capture this episode.

I agree that Superboy probably broke up with her as one of those "for her own good" type things. Bleh.

I really liked the relationship between M'gann and Beast Boy. I thought that was a nice touch.

So this episode was great for a whole host of reasons, but also did a little bit of stabbing me in the heart area.

Seeing all the Families working together really was glorious (Dude, we had four Bats all at once. Bruce, Dick, Barbara and Tim. That's practically a dream come true right there), particulaly the Wonders ("Less Fan Girl more Wonder Girl") and the Supers (Did you notice he called Conner 'Kon-El'? I loved seeing that. Them bonding; particularly "little brother").

We also know the Reach have history with the Kroloteans, and that they're working with the Light (Dude, WTF Light?)

On the horribly sad side, why Aqualad, why? I'm almost crying

I am 100% with yu on all of that. My emotions ranged from "YAY!" to "OH< GD< WHY?!" It also broke my heart to see Superman trying and failing to save the Kroloteans.

Oh, absolutely, that scene was honest-to-god pefect. Superman has come under some criticism in this series for not being as Super Good as normal (Mainly with regards to his cold treatment of Conner), and that scene was so Superman. Him just trying to help, just doing good, because that's what Superman does.

I also loved the inclusion of the Appelaxians. I can't believe they actually brought them in as the source of the League foundation.

death might have had more of an impact if we got to know her better though. But ah Superman and Superboy together made me so happy. And they have Cassie down perfectly.

Wasn't feeling it that much. Good looking moments with the team ups, but beyond that, I wasn't feeling it.

Better than last week's episode. Would have appreciated the Bat Family Team up if Tim or Babs said or did anything of any significance.

Very true on that one, I'd have liked some dialogue from them, but at least they're showing up (Speaking of, still no word on Artemis or KF?)
