Wanna have a deadpool on the method of Wally's death?

Finally.. it took them a five year time jump... but they kinda have a Young Justice that almost looks like the team i wanted in the damn first place. Miss Martian kinda works are a fill in for Secret. Though Super Boy being of Teen Titans age and the Titans never existing is still annoying. eh. It's almost watchable for me now. Still no sign of Bart sadly and he brought much heart to the team.

Well nobody in the audience had ever really heard of Young Justice so it's really not the big issue that you constantly make it out to be.

Agreed. As much as comic fans (including myself) like to decry the dissimilarity, it really served the show to be more free to experiment. If it were rigidly set to the original comic book, we'd have never gotten Aqualad, Miss Martian, Rocket, Zatanna, or Artemis as part of the team.

    Re: Young Justice

They actually mentioned before the show aired that, despite the title, the series was explicitly not an adaptation of the Young Justice comic book, and would intentionally not adapt any one specific lineup or overarching story. They also made sure to never use the term 'Young Justice' in the show since, officially, that is not the name of the team (They're always referred to as "the team" or "the kids").

Of course, I've got to wonder why they picked the name in that case, since that obviously implies a direct connection, but I've seen odder title choices.

Well, it's a Young version of the Justice League sidekicks and the League plays a very large role. And like I mentioned above, not to make a dig at the book's fanbase, but the supposed direct connection is only going to matter to a small, select group of people, most of whom are going to be outside the target age group for the show to begin with.

I think he'll be the Flash.

Artemis, on the other hand, I think may very well be dead. Especially with Cissie King-Jones running around and now of superhero age.

Why would they kill off their breakout character in favor of servicing a select few who even know of the character?

    The Whedon principle, for one.

Based on the tagline, we know someone's going to die. She'd be a good pick for emotional impact, much as I would hate it.
