Christos Gage says sales could be better. If you dig the book, please tell a friend to check it out/pre-order the TPB. Marvel is putting out a "must haves" collection of #1-3 in January so folks can catch up.
For me, this is the only place I can get my Justice fix!

Not helpful. I don't think anyone's ever picked up a book because they're concerned it might get cancelled. And it doesn't sound like it's a possibility that Gage has suggested, for that matter...
Guys, just to be clear, the book is not in any danger as far as I know. I'm working on #13 now and have it plotted out to after #20. And we're selling in the same range as successful books like New Mutants and Secret Warriors. I'm just trying to be proactive and bump sales a little, especially with Marvel putting out the Must Haves collection of #1-3 in January. I do appreciate the efforts, Scott! Thanks!

8 ties into Bendis' Avengers and 9 features Taskmaster. And in 10 Speedball returns to Stamford.
11-12 have a big massive battle guest-starring all the Avengers (Thor, Iron Man, etc.) and bringing back a HUGE classic villain.
Issue 13 is the Superhero Prom. And 14 has awesome high-profile villains & ties in with Big Time Secret Event Rich Johnston Is Wrong About.

Academy is my favorite Avengers book since..well..since Gage's work on AVENGERS: INITIATIVE.
My LCS holds a weekly roundtable event, and everyone who reads it loves it, and (nearly) everyone who doesn't read it, tries it after the round table.
I love it. I have been on board since issue one. The guy behind the counter at my LCS is always raving about it. It is his favorite Avengers book. It really is great, and I cannot wait for Christos to get back to writing the Taskmaster.
