I will be there.
Do you know what the rates/availability of artists alley tables will be?
Press Release:
This spring the Boston Comic Con doubles in size and moves to a much larger venue: the Hynes Convention Center! In light of the massive crowds at the previous convention, the move was essential to accommodate the growing popularity of the show. And with this line up of comic creators, every extra foot of space is absolutely needed.
Boston Comic Con is thrilled to announce that the April 30-May 1, 2011 show features the best guest list New England has ever seen. Comic fans and collectors will not want to miss this amazing opportunity to meet superstar creators including Frank Quitely, Adam Hughes, Frank Cho, Tim Sale, Darwyn Cooke, Art Adams, Matt Wagner, JG Jones, Stan Sakai, Terry Moore, Ryan Ottley, Dave Johnson, Gahan Wilson, Tony Harris, Mark Brooks, Stephane Roux, Khoi Pham, Sean Galloway, David Mack, and Howard Chaykin!
We are also pleased to announce that Golden Age legend Joe Kubert appears as a special guest on Sunday only.
Finally we are happy to welcome back Mark Chiarello, Art Director for DC Comics, who joins us again this year to do on-site artist portfolio reviews both days. Do you have what it takes to be the next great DC artist? Sign up at the show!!
Tickets are now available online through the convention website. Prices are $20 for a single day pass and $35 for a weekend pass. Details at the link!

I can't possibly save as much money as I'm going to need for this show.

I would love to go, that's a great guest list. We went to Boston last May for vacation and loved it, this would be a perfect excuse to go back.
hmm i might go to this!
It's a good time. I've only been going for the last couple of years, but in that time, it seemed like BCC was another con trying to find its place in the notoriously tough New England convention scene. But last year, they really unzipped, laid it out for everyone to see and said, "We're New England's comic book show. Prove us wrong." When you move to a bigger venue and discover that you've already outgrown it, you're doing something right.
