A significant difference between Kickstarter and Indiegogo is that is that on Kickstarter you don't get charged and funds don't get sent to the creator(s) until and unless the full funding goal is reached or surpassed by the final pledge date. On indiegogo, if you pledge, you're charged immediately, and the creator gets your money, and gets to keep it whether the goal is ever reached or not. So, based on the history of Shocker Toys, and the way they charged for pre-orders immediately, and then the customers are left waiting for years for their products, I think not allowing him on Indiegogo is a good idea.
