I consider his quitting monthlies to be a belated birthday gift to me from the comic gods. THANK YOU, COMIC GODS! Now if you could just get rid of Wondy's ridiculous new costume and get a decent writer back on the title I will be the happiest girl in all the land.

Is Phil Hester a good writer?

He's done some acclaimed indy work. I like his artwork, though I do think his faces need some work, as they look all the same. But it's very nicely dynamic.

It's still going to be the same storyline though, right? I already wasn't interested in that, so I can't see the writer change making a difference.
