Trying to research this online is frustrating me. I guess it's more complicated than I thought. I just remember reading about people playing PAL (European) DVDs on NTSC (North American) players and finding things sped up b/c PAL was 24 fps and NTSC was 29 fps. But now I'm reading about interlaced fields and other bullshits, and I just don't care anymore!
