By letting him know that there's consequences for his "misunderstanding" (really, so having a friend hold a girl down while you force yourself on her is a misunderstanding? Seems he understood perfectly fine what he was doing), and one of them is meeting someone that has a hair trigger temper and is very much against rape.

do you a think a student should be barred from playing a game if he is charged with a crime? innocent until proven guilty.

For rape? Hell yes. As for other things I think it depends on the crime.

I think so.

Hell, in my elementary and high schools, a student can be barred from playing sports because he/she didn't get a certain grade point average, which I thought was fair.

Innocent till proven guilty only applies to the legal system.

I don't think it's that uncommon. There was just a case of a football player for University of New Hampshire was accused of rape he's been suspended from the university and from playing.
