I thought fireworks were a Chinese tradition.
My neighborhood rocks. A bunch of people are setting off the ones that go in the air and go POPPITY POP POP POP, which are illegal in Kentucky (have to go to Tennessee to buy them). And they've been doing it every night this weekend and the last two weekends. Hopefully they'll save some for this coming weekend too.
I just dig fireworks. It's such an American tradition. I think one year the U.S. should coordinate setting them all off at the same time and taking a satellite picture. How cool would that be!?!

The fireworks scare my dogs
AND they're fucking illegal, scofflaws!
i had no one to go with, so no fireworks for me this year.
My neighbors are going fireworks crazy in my cul de sac.
Good thing my dog and I are going to a party in a few minutes.
