Either way I'm still interested. I just hope Ronin isn't Echo, or else she's going to need a very clear and logical explination for this.
Just saw this solicit. This is very disappointing. I thought this crossover would bring more readers to H&M, now its not even taking place in the monthly. Jim, I hope this isn't a sign that its getting cancelled.

I'm still interested as well. I'm just bummed that I now have to spend $8 for the 2 issues of H&M compared the $1.50 I get them for through the Marvel sub service. So that's an extra $5 there. I don't normally read Black Widow, so I was going to pick up those 2 issues as well. Now those are $1 more as well, so this storyline will cost me an additional $7 compared to if they had just ran it in the regular monthly titles.
I rarely ever complain about prices. I can afford it, so its not that big of a deal. I think it just does a disservice to these 2 titles. Jim is doing an awesome job, its been getting great reviews and selling out, now they derail the momentum by moving the crossover to a stand alone mini.
Sorry, rant over.
That being said, I'm still totally pysched for this story.
Yeah, it does seem REALLY silly to do this as a stand-alone....you would have thought a cross over between the two books would have really helped both of them (particularly BLACK WIDOW, which I can't help but feel is in trouble, which REALLY bothers me....this character has SO much potential!).
All in all, not the smartest move!
It might have just gotten too big for McCann to keep in the main book though

As long as Jim's writing Bobbi & Clint!HAWKEYE & MOCKINGBIRD and BLACK WIDOW are combining for the WIDOW MAKER event. What happens next would spoil Widow Maker, so keep reading!
And the Lopez boys are still on art!
Bobbi dies(again) and the book just becomes Hawkeye?
I guess we can also take this as a positive sign. Marvel recently cancelled Secret Warriors from their subscription service and the remaining issues from that sub were transferred to H&M. That leads me to believe that Marvel thinks its going to be around for a little while at least.
I wonder if it's going to be a general spy book with Natasha joining Bobbi and Clint's group later. Have it be a team book with them, Natasha, Bangs, and crew

Maybe people can't relate to a married Hawkeye. Where's Mephisto?
