    Jen Van Meter Wordballoon

She was a great interview. I like a lot of views on comics and I loved how she explained the difference between Blackcat and Catwoman. I wish Marvel would make Blackcat a monthly series. I would definitely buy it, the mini series has been great.

"Brian Bendis is one of the most profane and potty-mouthed people I know. The saltiness of the language that comes out of his brain makes Scarface blush. I mean, you can't imagine the stuff he says. Stuff like "#$%^knuckle" or "Monkey #($*%&^%!" Oh and then there's "Your Mother's @#$%^% cystic #$%^%!" I mean who thinks of these things?"-Joe Quesada

Yeah, another one of your interviews where I didn't know the work of the guest going in.

My first reaction was, wow, I really want to read her work. The second was to thank you for a thoughtful conversation. Great character insights but also an adult discussion of serious topics.

Hopeless Savages is such an important book for me. It inspired me to make more comics with rock bands as protagonists, and made me first notice Oni as a publisher (even though I had bought their books before, without really putting two and two together).
