Stephen Wacker is awesome

I know a lot of people here hate Spider-man after OMD, but personally I LOVE it. Over on the Spider-man board at CBR, we've got a lot of "Pro-marriage" posters and they're pretty rude to Wacker and Slott, but Wacker can be just as snarky. The dude edits a book that comes out 3x a month and I don't recall a book ever being late, while at the same time editing the satellite Spider-books and the Daredevil books. I think he should be cut a little slack, whatever your feelings on OMD the current creative team did not have anything to do with it and they're pretty much just doing their jobs. So thank you Steve Wacker and the rest of the web-heads, for almost 100 solid issues.

I think the man is hysterical.

He has a very dry sense of humor and I think some people have trouble telling when he is joking.

OK, I can kinda sorta understand people being rude to Wacker, even though he doesn't deserve it in the least.

But Dan Slott??

The man is an absolute sweetheart!!! What kind of heartless jerk can be mean to the Slott??

Dan Slott IS an incredibly nice guy. Some readers have gone completely over the line with him precisely because he's so nice.

He's got one weirdo freak stalker who really ought to be in jail, he's such a lunatic.

It does amaze me' how much people take these things to heart with comics. And for god sakes the man even sings songs as Ben Grimm when he's signing. When's the last time Gail did that?

Dan is a great guy. He was interviewed by my oldest son and it completely made his (my son's day). And someone just told me about the weirdo if it's the same guy you're speaking of. Very fucked up.
