At least Luck of the Fryish at least had some happiness to the ending. I mean, the ending to th Fry's dog was completely sad.

A very tiny bit (for me). Its still very sad.

Spoiler:

Fry didn't revive his dog because he believed that his dog forgot about him. But he never did. That's the sad part. He waited years just for Fry to come back.

A very tiny bit (for me). Its still very sad.

Fry didn't revive his dog because he believed that his dog forgot about him. But he never did. That's the sad part. He waited years just for Fry to come back.

But to Seymour, Fry never left him (except to hunt narwhals). He and Fry were together for those 12 years.

Fry went back to 2000 twice: the first Fry froze himself again, and the second Fry stayed in 2000 and lived his life like normal until Bender tried to kill him and flashed-fossilized Seymour.

I dunno. I tear up at the "Named for his uncle to carry on his spirit" line, cause it's kinda sad that he spent the whole episode bitching about how fucking horrible his brother was and how much he hated him, but then you find out that Yancy loved Philip so much that he named his kid after him when he thought he did.

Yeah, but the happy part is that his brother really did care about him. So, for me, that would be more bittersweet than downer. With Seymour, he just kinda got screwed.

Oh yeah, that's right. Damn that movie just makes things confusing. I think my brain just chooses to forget that movie even though I know it happened and all.

"The Body" Episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I don't think I've ever watched this episode without tears clouding my eyes. When I stop crying after one character's reaction, they move on to the next and I just start crying some more! I'm just a damn wreck during the whole episode.
