Do you hear me, Marc Webb?!
I'd say she's at least safe for the first flick.

They just need to go against conventional wisdom and let her live through the first new trilogy.

    No MJ, at all.

Then if the next person wants to off her and move onto MJ, they can.

MJ's cinematic portrayal was tainted by Kirsten Dunst's whininess, much like I could never take Vicki Vale seriously in the Bat-comics once she was introduced because all you can hear is Kim Basinger screaming every time anything happens.
Why do you still have signatures turned on?

    And the second.

Murdering the hell out of her in the finale seems best. Hoping she lives but from the sound of things in interviews, they don't sound too interested in that.

I'd like to see her become a more recurring love interest after this rather than "all MJ all the damn time". : p

She's really cool in Spectacular and USM.
I get this all the time. They say, "You really hate Daredevil. Look how mean you are to Daredevil." I'm like, "Would you really buy a book about him enjoying a sandwich? 'What a great sandwich. I'm going to eat this for 22 pages, and I'm going to be so happy.'" I may do it just to prove a point. Have Wolverine going, "This is the best bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich I've ever had in my life!"

I wouldn't mind seeing them do Gwen in the first, introduce MJ in the second (love triangle!) and then have Gwen die at the end of the trilogy. It gives the series a really sad note to end on, but I'd wrap it up with the way ASM #122 ends, with MJ staying with a grieving Peter.

Or, if you wanna do something really fucking different, do the Venom solo movie and base it off Ultimate Venom, then introduce Ultimate Carnage in ASM2 and have him kill Gwen, then bring her back in ASM3. But that might be tough.

    Please no.

With the status quo being more open ended these days, I'd like to see theres a world to Peter and romance outside of Watson. I really don't want to see them get together for the umpteenth time in a new adaption like the cartoons and last movie trilogy. I just want something more original this time around.

A large part of the problem of that though I suppose is that the marriage kind of prevented any new love interests from being created and the only one thats actually been used since then was Carlie who was just boring as hell.

Well, I'm open to whatever, personally. I'm glad that they're doing something different from MJ, though.

There is Felicia too I guess but a lot of writers don't like taking her seriously as anything other than a tease/sex machine these day so I guess she's not a good option either.

I would like to see MJ in the cast, though, in his group of close friends. But they dont' have to hook up.

    Yeah, that would be nice.

I don't mean to sound really forceful or persistent about it, I know she has her fans and thats cool. I'm just still burnt out on her. Ever since I was a kid it was pretty much all just "MJ, MJ, MJ, MJ" in everything.

In that case it'd be best to just not include her at all. The whole "tease" angle would be pretty pointless since audiences have already seen three movies with her as the primary love interest.
