I love the humor this movie is displaying. Its hitting all the right Spidey notes for me.
I think this movie looks great, and I'm probably anticipating it more than I did Avengers. Since this draws heavily on USM, I have a lot personally invested in it. Although oddly enough, the villain in the movie is one that never had any significant appearances in the series (as The Lizard anyway).
That said, has anyone seen the trailer where he dents the goalpost with the football? That part struck me as a bit cheesy, and I wouldn't think he'd be strong enough to do that. But maybe I'm just being nitpicky.

Interesting comments from Avi Arad on ASM's place in the Marvel movie-verse...
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?p...ticle&id=39112As long as we're exploring ol' Web Head in other media, Crave Online spoke with "Amazing Spider-Man" producer Avi Arad, who spoke briefly about the possibility of merging the new status quo of the upcoming reboot with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"Everything is possible," Arad told Crave Online. "If something like that happens, it's great for Disney, it's great for Sony. If the right story comes in, we are now working on 'Venom' first. It's our first out. So our thinking is in the right direction. 'Avengers' to me was an expected success so I never looked at it because 'Avengers' was successful."
While Spidey never actually showed up in "The Avengers," there was a rampant rumor leading to release that he actually had a cameo in the film. The rumor was later debunked by Joss Whedon.
