We had one of these back on the old board so I thought we could have one here. Lets start with the rumored new WWE logo. Jim Ross mentioned it in his blog and now it looks like screen caps for tonight's Raw have been leaked giving us a look at the new logo. Keep in mind these COULD be fake. Anyway, I guess we'll find out for sure soon enough.

I just noticed that the fourth pic down (the one with the RAW logo) has both the USA AND Sky Sports watermarks. That could be an indication that this is fake even though the others don't have both marks and Jim Ross pretty much confirmed that there IS in fact a new WWE logo on its way.

JR also mentioned 2-5 guys are getting contracts this week. Hoping to see some big named idny guys get called up, but will miss them as locals. Anyone on here attend indys in their area and have any recommendations?

If WWE is changing their logo then Summerslam would be a good starting point.

It is one of the 'big four' events and would be an ideal launchpad for a relaunch of the WWE brand.

I have to admit that I don't like the name of the promotion, World Wrestling Entertainment. If I owned the promotion rather than Vince, I would change to World Championship Wrestling as WWE own that name. I'd also get rid of Smackdown as the name of the Friday show.

The gimmick PPVs aren't always great either as there are often two or three similar bouts in one night and that can often be overkill with certain gimmick matches, especially matches like Money In The Bank where the match can take an excessive amount of time to complete and having two such matches really hits the running time of the event, meaning that there isn't much more room for other things. Royal Rumble also doesn't have a lot of time for too many matches and many of the wrestlers are heavily involved in the Royal Rumble itself which means that they can't do too much earlier on or can only put a short shift in the Rumble after their early match. Having two versions of titles also dilutes things to breaking point at times and it often isn't clear what the top line match of a PPV is going to be.

If I had total control of WWE then I'd go with the following changes:

Promotion Name : World Championship Wrestling
Shows: Raw (Monday), Friday Night Heat (Friday)
Titles: WCW World Heavyweight Championship - Big Gold Belt
WCW Intercontinental Championship
WCW Cruiserweight Championship
WCW World Tag Team Championship
WCW Womens Championship

I'd also do more cross promotion with companies like New Japan and TNA.
