Wolverine and the X-Men![]()
I watched the last episode of one of my current favorite shows, Sons of Tuscon, last night. The show only lasted one season which is a crime since it was so funny.
Another great show I used to watch that only lasted one season was Jack & Bobby. It came on the WB and was about two brothers, the younger of which went grew up to be the President. Despite the name, the show is not about the Kennedys.
So what are some of your all time favorite shows that, for some reason, only lasted one season?

Space: Above and Beyond
Stupid name and its kinda dated today but it was awesome and as usuall it ended on a cliffhanger (they tried to edit it so we thought everyone died but it was soo clearly a cliffhanger)
Freaks and Geeks.
Oh. Good ones mentioned already. Invisible man and Firefly of course.
I'd add in The Class: great sitcom by the people that did Friends.
Blade: this show was just getting good when it got canned
The Dresden Files: the wife and I still lament this shows passing
I'm mad I can't think of any others right now. I'm sure they will come to me. I'd throw in Better off Ted but that got a second season. So good.
- "Raumpatrouille - Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion" (1966, "Space Patrol") [theme]
- "The Prisoner" (1967) [opening credits]
- "Nowhere Man" (1995) [opening credits]

I dunno if "The Prisoner" really counts since Patrick McGoohan only wanted the show to last a certain length of time and was, in fact, a bit ticked off when he was forced to extend it even just by a couple of episodes. The networks would have gladly done more with the show it was McGoohan, the creator, who didn't want it to go on -- he had something to say, he said it then he got the heck out.
And since Firefly has already been mentioned I'm going with my other favorite, cancelled WAY too soon show....
