Seriously.
I'm thinking about picking up some old Doc Strange issues but have no idea what his best stories are. Any help?
Thanks!

There are some great ones from the late seventies that kick major ass. Any issue with Clea should be good.
paul smith did a couple of really fine ones in the late eighties. the brunner issues are THE issues.
and the promise of the frank miller doctor strange in the ads that ran in all the marvel books in the eighties. a book that never happened.
and theres a michael golden issue that is a must havbe and the plunkett marvel fanfare issues with scarlet witch.
Brunner's stuff was amazing....and Miller on Doc Strange? I would've loved to see that.Originally Posted by BENDIS!

I think i remember a short story done by Dave Gibbons.. i really, really liked it. Don't remeber if he also wrote it.
There was a Doctor Strange Classisc series that reprinted the ditko stuff recoloured. It was great.
Oh, there are the 3 issues by Warren Ellis & Mark Buckingham. Second series issues 80-82 I think. But they're not in continuity. Doc uses Chaos Magic in them.![]()
Those were quite good, and I liked that version of his costume, too..Originally Posted by artimoff
