Through the years, different characters have had their one perfect moment. What moment is that for you for a certain character?
This is mine for Superman.
I'll quote Mark Waid on this.
"...but the big moment is the perfect line of dialogue. It comes in chapter ten, when Superman, without a second's hesitation, takes time from his world-building feats to embrace and comfort a suicidal young girl. When he tells her 'You're much stronger than you think you are,' they become the most moving words we have ever read in a Superman story." And they gave me goosebumps.
They are so perfect because they reveal in one sentence, the fundamental secret of Superman and why we love him so.
Gods achieve their power by encouraging us to believe in them.
Superman achieves his power by believing in us."

Captain America:
I remember seeing this and just staring at it for five minutes. It's something that Steve would do, and it's completely in his character.
Man, that moment was beautiful.
I'm trying to find the scans, but there is one moment from that issue, that I liked even more.
This is a good one:

Yeah, that moment in All-Star Superman was so good JMS felt the need to blatantly rip it off in the first issue of his his bullshit "Grounded" storyline. AKA the most boring Superman story ever told. Makes me very angry.
The Fantastic Four meet "God", by Mark Waid and Mike Wieringo. And in the MU, God is Jack Kirby.
