I just came over here from YABS, and I'm still trying to figure everything out. I downloaded the jinxworld app and found it really easy to use, but I have a few questions.
The app icon on my home screen has one of those little red circles with a number in it ( like on the email icon when you have an unread email) and I can't figure out what it's for or how to get rid of it. Also, some members posts appear blank when I read a thread.

What does the app do?
It's just a way to access the forum from the iPhone. It asked me if I want a service called "Push" that would send me updates when I get a pm or something, but I didn't sign up because it ends up costing money.Originally Posted by Teal_Lantern

Bendis paid for the app, so everyone doesn't get charged for the push notifications.
Anyways, you should be able to disable them from within the app or from the SETTINGS -> Notifications area (I think..)
Disabling them is a good idea only because it is a drain on the battery.
