Did you enjoy C2E2? Who all did you get to meet?
With the new Bane Secret Six arc coming up, are we going to see the Six return to Gotham for any reason?

I second this notion. Will we see The Secret Six plus Black Alice in Gotham City?![]()

I think this is a bad idea for the simple reason it would mean that the Secret Six plus Black Alice would be subject to every crossover that takes place in Gotham which is pretty much all of them. I think one of the strengths of the book is that it is self-contained and we would lose that if the cast moves to the same city Batman lives in.
Hello Gail,
I think that it's extremely important that we have a conversation on the topic of the mental capacities of simians, or more precisely the psychic power of gorillas. Crucial, even.
Did you intend the world-famous Gorilla Knights, serving as spearapes for Wonder Woman, to have psionic powers ?
- one scene early in your run (when Nemesis unexpectedly enters Diana's apartment but sees no-one) strongly implies that they can go invisible (though maybe they just hid really really fast and really really well)
- another scene has this little effect on the word balloon usually used for telepathic communications -- it happens when two of the gorillas are discreetly talking with each other
I'm sure you can appreciate the burning importance of this question. Answering it would put an end to what has been, so far, a mystery for the apes.
Thank you.

As it turns out, I have another question about a large hairy creature. This is totally a coincidence - my interests are not usually focused on large hairy creatures. Honest.
In Wonder Woman : Ends of the Earth you brought Grendel on Earth -- the version of the blood-beast Grendel seen in the 1975 Beowulf series, and thus the spawn of Cain (or at least that's what Grendel's mother says). Then Beowulf introduced the bit with the Babylonian druids with UFOs, but we don't talk about that.
In Secret Six : The Depths Grendel is back and seems to be the same person as the one in Wonder Woman looks-wise. There he states that he's the spawn of Vandal Savage -- who's famous for, among other things, having hosted Cain's soul for a while during Final Crisis. He basically was Cain at that point.
Is it reasonable to assume that Grendel claimed descent from Vandal Savage because he identified him as Cain ? You've been know to do subtle little things like that before, so that doesn't sound too far-reaching compared to, oh, bringing Lady Cop back from nowhere. As an example.
(And was Grendel the source of the bad influence on the island that made Scandal, Bane, etc. react all weirdly ?)
Ta !
(Great stories, by the way).

Oo, this is something I would also like to know. I'm also curious on your thoughts on his mother, of course, especially given your work with her in BoP and Villains United. EDIT: Thought I should explain a little. The reason I'm particularly curious about your thoughts on Talia isn't just because she's my favorite, but rather because I think your use of her shows that she really can function as a character outside of Batman stories.

I personally liked Morrison's Talia myself up until the part where it was revealed she basically had nothing to do with Damien most of his life
