Thanks Kate. It took a few swipes with the eraser to get it right. And it's when little details like that, when someone notices it... makes me feel good about putting the extra few minutes into working it out right.
Just to explain my choices here in the Frankenstein monster... I've always felt that the Monster was NOT perfectly proportioned. That Victor was a good surgeon... but NOT a plastic surgeon. So that his monster would be a patchwork of various body parts... some bigger then others. Ergo, the long leg with the exposed foot, is off set by the shorter leg with the boot and lift on it.
Inks by the ever incredible Jeff Austin... wait til you see the full results!!!

Nice stuff people!
JT, did Jeff add in the shading & cross-hatching on the inked drawings? There's no sign of them on the sketches. Just wondering.

Jim, yes he did. Whenever Jeff and I work together... I let him "do his thing" to my art... I trust his instincts, it comes from working with someone for so many projects... you just learn to trust that their input, is just going to make the image that much better.
I always feel, a good inker will make your work look solid. A great inker will enhance what you've put down already, and make it look super. Which is why I always enjoy any time I get to work with Jeff. He's an enormous talent, and a good friend.

Dat Jeff Austin sure is wacky! Boy could be 'Neal Wrightson' by himself if he just drew more...
Here's a painting I did 3.5 years back. Guy rejected it because his lady patriotic heroine looked MEXICAN (sic)--not finished--skin tone I could fix in 20 minutes in Photoshop, and broke-ass, anachronism-prone, non-payin' pinhead gets pissy about it. Last amount of time I ever talked to that guy was spent cussing him out...
