I upped the font size to make it more readable.

I think mt eyes are screwed up from staring at the computer too long because I keep thinking the one girl's dress are her legs. Then I'm like...wait, no, that's just the skirt flaring out...

That aside, nice! Do you use a tablet or scan and ink on the computer?

I haven't made it easy for myself in the story I'm currently creating. The only light sources are the moon, a lantern, and some flashlights through out the whole story. And I'm not the best for either texturing and light sources. But I think this story will really help me out as an artist in that way as I separate varying levels of shadow and darkness. So the pages and what's what visually should be better as I progress.

I do the bulk of the art by hand regular comic size which is 10 inches by 15 inches. I letter and make some corrections digitally. I have a tablet but I don't use it a whole lot. I would actually love to grayscale these in an old 1930's/40's black and white movie style but I'd never get them done. Yeah, it's a bit of a cop out but tech school comes before art and I'm doing the whole thing on my own which has its advantages & disadvantages.

Glad you liked it overall, though!

    Re: Jinx artists

Hey, I do like how consistent the details are in this piece thought, like the bottom two panels of the second page you posted? The curl in front is in the guy's hair for both, and the detail of one of the women's dresses from the first panel is on the third lower one, too. I love it when that happens!

Also, good to know I'm not the only one not doing everything on screen yet! Of course...I do stuff in a sketchbook with a mechanical pencil and totally rip everything out once I think I'm not liking where I'm taking the story....I bow to you people on this thread.

Careful there Jim, all your female's are starting to develop those perfectly rounded "Michelle Obama" style shoulders again. Not so bad if they're wearing something with no sleeves. But if there's fabric there.. it's GOT to be treated differently. Or else it's just the same look all over again.

    Keep at it though bud!
