I thought it was even as high as three in the New Who world:

    Spoiler:

    The Master
    River Song
    Madam De Pompodour

You're right, of course. I just woke up and only remembered the middle one

Still waiting for the Gaiman episode. After that, you may not hear from me anymore because my head may have exploded from the awesome of having my favorite author write for my now favorite show. (My favorite show is fickle. My favorite author has not been since the late-90's.)

The official Doctor Who thread is in the Bendis section of this forum. But I'm such a fan, I don't mind there being one here.

Last season was exceptional. Matt Smith was a great replacement for Tennant

Oh, we have -got- to fix that. Nextflix should have all of the modern seasons available. Start with Eccelston's run with 'Rose' and go from there. Five seasons, some of them relatively short, but David Tennant did a slew of Dr. Who specials in addition to the regular seasons. The new fellow reminds me a bit of Tom Baker's take on the Doctor for some reason.

And if you're feeling ambitious, seek out the early stuff.

I disagree. Wait until the latest season comes out in Nov and start with those.

Start with Season Six ... what, are ye daft?! I say start in the good old days with Doctor #1 and slog your way through to new guy! Shouldn't take more than a year or two.

If this is anything like CBR I imagine there are a lot of people who will never leave Gail's boards.

Over at CBR there was a "Doctor Who" thread in the TV/Film Boards but lots of YABS-ters never went over there so we had a "Doctor Who" thread on YABS too.

Think of it as a cul-de-sac off of a larger street.
