Rick's insistance that he has some kind of mythical legal representation is hilarious considering that he keeps dropping evidence every time he goes to the keyboard.
Lucasfilm is going to demolish him. I hope he likes the color orange.

My personal favorite is how Rick bemoans having to cancel his KookySpookyCon because he was unable to secure a loan for "last minute" things like travel for the guests.
Am I wrong in thinking a successful con makes this a first-minute issue, not a last??
It occurs to me that these 406 pages of this thread could be summed up thus:
Olney lies!
He's not even good at it, but that's all he does.
If he believe the crap he writes, then he's delusional.
If he ever gets dragged into a court room, I suspect the judge will swiftly order him held for psychiatric evaluation and that he will end up institutionalized. Sadly for him, that might be the best he can expect from his life.
On a much happier note...
I leave for New York and the New York Comic Con tomorrow. I'm excited and terrified. I haven't been to a show this big since I was last at San Diego in 2003.

Every tax-paying citizen deserves the right to marry the person they love. Americans who vote to deny other Americans a right they themselves enjoy should have that right taken away from them.
"I've only held off paying Zac because he was such a 'dick' to me instead of allowing me what I asked early on time wise from him. And, yes, after a time... it became about who was attacking me next on Gail Simone's message board thread. But now, I'm over it. Zac Atkinson was the one person on TOTS #1 that actually completed his work. The others, including my (then) production manager, let it all drop to move onto another opportunity. So, yeah, he's as guilty as far as I'm concerned for this mess."

I know that we all know this and Rick does too but...
The post I quoted as seen here, http://talesofthespooky.blogspot.com...-landlord.html regarding Zac, was written in June. Rick wrote him and said if he said if he wanted to get paid, he'd have to say how much he owed. Zac did this, Rick said he'd break down the payments into $600 each. Zac said okay. That's it.Zac Atkinson was the one person on TOTS #1 that actually completed his work. The others, including my (then) production manager, let it all drop to move onto another opportunity. So, yeah, he's as guilty as far as I'm concerned for this mess. Contracts and work assignments were as much his responsibility. Everyone at TightLip Entertainment dropped the ball in that regard.
And, yeah, I'm a little childish. I don't reward people for unfulfilled freelance contracts, or for insulting me publicly.
Has Zac ever said anything else? No. We know that. He doesn't post here, doesn't tell people things in email to share here, he doesn't have a website where he shares stories about Rick. Zac has not said word one. Yet somehow in the last 4 months he goes from soon to be paid, to not getting paid because he is insulting?
It's amazing even after all these years to see Rick's logic and thought process at work.
*tries to parse that* "... he's as guilty as _____ as far as I'm concerned for this mess."? I should really stop trying to figure out what this guy's even saying, shouldn't I?
Mate, I think there's an error here. That image came out way too small, and even maximised is illegible. Don't know if they capped it or what, but just pointing it out.
*Happened a lot to mine too. was really frustrating
**But man, those pages just don't get any less painful over time, do they? ''As you know, Mr Finer''
''As you know Mr Finer, this is how a shitty writer like me approaches exposition. ''
The reason this was a horror comic was because the writing made your eyes bleed.

Richard L. Olney II, b.k.a. Rick Olney is a liar, thief, fraud, and shame to creativity everywhere. He still owes at least $35,547.76 to people who have worked for him, has bragged of selling stolen merchandise, and bullies anyone who dares to point out the error of his ways.
