hah Fillion is awesome!
So much for what could have been a great movie.
Seems as though we should all wait to see the movie.
Though personally I think Whedon's a great choice, I still won't judge it till I see it.
I hear rumblings that Mark Ruffalo will be announced as the new Bruce Banner tomorrow...
after all the greatness that joss has given us over the years, how can anyone doubt him on this project?

Well, honestly, he's a bit of a mixed bag. He's given us great stuff, like seasons 2, 3, and 5 of Buffy, season 5 of Angel, and the single season of Firefly. He's also given us mediocre stuff, like seasons 1-4 of Angel, or Dollhouse. He gave us a movie that worked well as a coda for a series but not so much as a movie unto itself (Serenity). And he has given us some seriously sub-par comics (his Runaways was awful, his Buffy was a cheap rehashing of what he'd done on TV, and his X-Men was pretty uninspired apart from being a love-letter to the Claremont/Byrne heyday of the series). Though I understand some disagree with me on this, I don't understand how anyone can really not understand how anyone can doubt him on this project, since it's not as if he's universally loved by either critics or popular audiences. He has a cult following based on his successes, but he lacks mainstream bona fides, not because of consumer ignorance, but because he doesn't always shit gold.
You never did the Kenosha Kid

I would have been cool with it. Oh well.Joss' comment: Funny and very clearly a joke. People hear: Whatever they wanna hear.
Hopefully all these crazy rumors die down after tomorrow's panel...
