I think Aubrey Plaza should be Scarlet Johansen's stunt double for the really sarcastic scenes.

Well, they kind of wrote themselves into a corner, though.. because the buildup to The Avengers has been the backbone of all these movies.

So even if Cap or Thor tanked, the Avengers was already in development.. it was too late at that point.

Now if Iron Man had tanked.. then yeah, thatd be that.

The shared universe aspect is one of the biggest sells to the average public..

That's all I hear from my non-comic reading friends.. "that's so cool that they're bringing all these movies together!"

I mean, they don't really understand why Batman and Spider-Man aren't in it..

.. but baby steps.

I can't wait for a couple months after the film opens when we're bound to hear stuff like "they had no script when they shot the film" or "the working conditions were not good, it's a constant barrage of movies that we have to do in a row" or "we were underpaid by Marvel" or "Whedon will not return for sequel due to creative differences", etc.

see the people I talk to that aren't comics fans dont care, but me and my friends that are comics fans love it. I think it's also fascinating from a business perspective too, but again that wont interest most of the general public
