If it's anything like Marko Djurdjevic's art book, I must own this!
It's a great book!! There's a introduction by Howard Chaykin, commentary on the art by not only Joe, but also Ed Brubaker, Brian Bendis, David Mack, Richard Isanove, and Klaus Janson. It shows some of his early Marvel stuff, some production work for his Event Comics stuff, a TON of penciled pages from his DD and Spider-Man runs, a lot of never before scenes stuff, a look at Joe's storytelling by Jeph Loeb, and some other stuff.
One of my favorite things was the last page, which is a painting he's working on for his daughter, which really has a huge Windsor McCay vibe. Great, great stuff.

I've been thinking about it. Was wondering how much of it was just reprinted material and how much was new, unpublished or sketchbook-type stuff.
Your description has me heading off to Amazon right now, though.
Can't wait to get it. Got it coming from DCBS this month.

I ordered it through dcbs. I can't wait for it.
"Brian Bendis is one of the most profane and potty-mouthed people I know. The saltiness of the language that comes out of his brain makes Scarface blush. I mean, you can't imagine the stuff he says. Stuff like "#$%^knuckle" or "Monkey #($*%&^%!" Oh and then there's "Your Mother's @#$%^% cystic #$%^%!" I mean who thinks of these things?"-Joe Quesada
I gotta now!![]()
