Yeah man. I put the tome down was just like WHOA. I needed a few minutes to just decompress after.

What are they at now issue 75? Yeah at least two years I am guessing.

I am going to get mine in the smaller volume trades. That thing was nice to have all in one book but made it hard to read in certain positions.

    Yeah me too.

I originally went with the 'Absolute-sized' volume but cracked during the wait for vol.2 The oversized hardcovers are a much more manageable wait.

Although I'm halfway through volume 5 and I'm already wondering "when will they solicit #6???"

well for those they do 12 issues. and every 6 issues they do a trade. June 30 the next regular 6 issue trade comes out. So I would say a month or so after that.

Re: The Walking Dead Compendium Volume 1

I just finished the compendium after lugging this thing around on the subway during my commute. I'm happy to be done, but am upset I will have to wait so long before I can read the rest of the story. I am not a zombie fan at all, and I absolutely loved this book. I couldn't put it down and am looking forward to rereading it.
No one is safe in this book and I love how sometimes people die in the most mundane situations when you least expect it. It's just and impressive piece of writing and now I can't wait to see the TV show in October. I hope they remain as faithful as they say they want to.
Sometimes I doubt your commitment to Sparkle Motion.

I have started catching up with it on my iPad, and I am up to #67.

    I couldn't wait.
