    Action B-Movies

Hey John, I was listening to today's podcast with Matt Singer and you mentioned your love for good "bad" action movies. And here I thought I was the only one! I figured we could start a thread for people to suggest some of their favorite guilty pleasure action flicks. I came up with 4 off the top of my head:

High Risk- It's pre Lethal Weapon 4 Jet Li in what is essentially an unabashed Die Hard spoof.

    The Corruptor
    - Mark Wahlburg and Chow Yun Fat as cops the NYPD's Asian Gang Unit. It's got some good performances from both leads. It was directed by James (Glengarry Glen Ross) Foley.

    The Big Hit
    - Another Wahlburg movie. This time he plays a neurotic, depressed hitman. Lou Diamond Phillips co-stars as one of his partners, Avery Brooks as their boss and, believe it or not, Elliot Gould as Wahlburg's future father-in-law.

    Art of War
    - Westley Snipes as a black Ops agent working for...the U.N.? Anyway, he gets betrayed and has to clear his name and work against the Triads.

If you can appreciate a decent action b-movie, any of these are worth at least a rental.

Nooo do not rent the Big Hit. It's horrible!
High Risk and Corruptor are worth it, though.

Big Hit is actually my favorite from that whole list . I can see why some people may not like it though. It's pretty over the top.

Cmon 90's Punisher was a D movie that got promoted to B movie just because of War Zone.

How this thread has got this far with no one mentioning the new Universal Soldier film I have no idea.

Worth just for JCVD's ridiculous hair alone.
