He's dead. They'll replace him with Grimlock.
I watched last weeks episode with the armor. Animation is jumping by leaps and bounds. The only thing really holding this show back is cost and mamtime for the animation to make a larger cast. Hopefully the recent advances in animation can help.

Not sure if they will replace him with Grimlock, but it is a certainty Bulkhead is dead. Next week's episode is also the mid-season finale before the summer break. They're going to go out with a bang.

I could see them doing that as well. It would give Wheeljack a "reason" to join Team Prime. I was hoping they would avoid that, though. The series needs a team of more than five Autobots at any given time. The only other time we had that was during the first ten minutes of the series.Spoiler:

The last three episodes have been great, really giving each character in the series their chance to shine. Soundwave/Wheeljack was quite the showdown.
So we saw:
Arcee/Bumblebee vs Knockout/Insecticon for the phasing relic
Optimus Prime vs Dreadwing vs Starscream for the Apex Armor
Ratchet/Wheeljack vs Soundwave for the Resonance Blaster
I think Megatron was on the Nemesis for all of these missions, so who does that leave for Bulkhead?
