I don't think so. 616 Nick Fury is too iconic as he is for that to happen, just as black Nick Fury is too iconic in the Ultimate U for them to change him.
Yep, and they should.
Yeah, but I don't want it.
No, but they should.
No, thank God.
Peter's webs come from WHERE???
Something I've been wondering lately. Since Sam Jackson is going to be Nick Fury in the movies, do you think eventually Marvel will make Fury resemble him in the main Marvel Universe? Marvel's goal is to make it easier for new fans to jump right in, right?
Bear in mind, he wouldn't be the first caucasian to become black in the 616. both the Punisher and Mach IV were black at different points. Over in the DCU, Lois Lane even was in like an issue. It's not unheard of.
So what say you? Will they? Should they?
Sidenote: I think it'd be funny if Fury, in some Marvel film, used an image projector to disguise himself. His disguise? David Hasselhoff.

They'll probably just have him disguise himself as the Ultimate version from time to time as an in-joke.

didn't he have a black version of himself hologram in one of the SEcret Avengers thingies?
On a not-really-related topic, "Black Fury" would probably not be a good superhero name.
