Man, Lexis Nexis still exists? I figured Google would have rendered it obsolete.

Nah. Lexis grabs everything and doesn't, or at least didn't, return results with bias. Plus the whole full articles etc.
There are a lot of databases like Lexis that universities and specialized offices subscribe to that have access to information Google doesn't. Academics use them all the time. The stuff Google gives you won't hold up in a peer-reviewed journal.
