And he's doing a Superman/Shazaam book with Middleton on art. I love Middleton, but don't buy DCU books. Whatever will I do!?!?
I was very happy hating you. I was even in a nice groove as "The jerk who's always bashing Winick" on the boards. I bought your books only because they were characters I always follow, and every time I read a new issue, I would come on here and bitch about it. And then what do you go and do, you media-whore bastard?
You write two of the best damn Superhero comics I've read in months, Batman #641 and Outsiders #25.
Jerk. Oh, well. I guess it's back to hating Liefeld for me.
I mean, seriously. I didn't know that either book could be that good until I read them this week. Some of the moments in both books......brrrr......

And then in Outsiders, which finished up the Teen Titans crossover(the first Outsiders issue of which was pretty shoddy.......
Big Spoilers.

So, fine, you win. I'm a fan. You're no Geoff Johns, but you're a damn good writer. I'm glad you're working for DC.
Now just don't give Jason Todd HIV, and I'll be happy.![]()

I found Red Hood to slow down a bit too much after the reveal. This one make up for it?
I'm really into The Insiders crossover though. His latest Green Arrow arc sucked though. So pointless. I enjoyed his stuff on the book before #46 though.

I'm glad you're willing to give credit where it's due...but I've never understood why people want to slap the media whore label on Winick. If he was really a media whore, wouldn't he be trying to play the venerable old guy in The Real World/Road Rules Inferno Deathmatch Challenge? Seems like he must pass on a lot of opportunities to milk his Real World connection for attention/profit.Originally Posted by Raydawggie

Oh, you know, it is SO fashionable to pick on Judd Winick, but he is out there EVERY MONTH, with fresh material, and it's FUNNY!
