So last night I watched another episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse on DVD and it was good and I enjoyed it. But something in the episode seemed off to me. See, Randy was smoking, and everyone wanted him to stop cause it was bad for you. And when I say everyone, I don't just mean the things in the house, but visitors like Miss Yvonne. So, Randy agrees, and Pee Wee takes an ashtray off the kitchen counter for Randy. What the eff? If Pee Wee, his friends, and everything else in the playhouse is anti-smoking why does he have an ashtray

But see, if they were accepting of it, they wouldn't have ganged up on Randy and pressured him to put it out.Originally Posted by Moonwing

If he wouldn't have quit, then they would have accepted him. But since it was predominantly geared towards kids, they had to have him quit. So there.

all the homoerotic imagery in that show, a kids show, and what bothers you is the nearly inexplicible presence of an ashtray?
