While it's never been put into stone, I always got the feeling that the formula drove Osborne crazier and crazier over time. It was something written in one of the Hobgoblin issues that made me think that, don't ask me which one, I have no idea off the top of my head. I don't think the Norman we have today is the same Harry we had until issue 122. I'm not saying its someone else, I'm just saying he's not right. I mean he should be dead. Real dead. If the formula brought him back, who's to say it brought him back in the right frame of mind. Has that been said in the story? No. I think its one of those things that has to be assumed off panel. Mind you this is all my opinion and I have no idea if that's the thought with the writers or not. I have heard some even suggest on other boards that this Norman is actually a clone and the reason he's acting half mad is because he is degenerating. I personally believe the formula has just made him nuts.
