Funnybook of the Week - I read 'em, I rank 'em. Based on nothing more than my personal enjoyment.

Twitter Feed - Just as inane as a blog, but shorter.

I have no recollection of this show, but definitely owned toys for at least two of the vehicles in that clip. The buzz saw one was awesome.

Man I loved those vehicles. Those and Starriors have to be my favorite toys ever, more than Transformers or any othe other toy lines that made it big.
I loved 'em, too. I'm pretty sure all the ones my brother & I had are still in the attic at my Mom's. Kinda feel like dragging them out next time I visit...

Damn nostalgia. Saber Rider, Bravestar, Mask, Galaxy Rangers, Defenders of the Earth, Thundercats, Tigersharks, Transformers, ... listening to their theme songs almost makes me tear up. In a very macho way, of course.

This is a little obscure, but I loved it.

The song has a little ELO thing going.

And what does he mean by 'fabulous sectret powers'? He-man only has one power, he's strong. He didn't have anything else did he?
Yep. He wrote a bunch of scripts for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

He was also story editor (and wrote a bunch of scripts) for She-Ra: Princess of Power. Don't ask how I know this.

If I remember correctly, from an interview he did with Wizard WAAAAAAAAAY back (2004/2006 ish), he actually got the job as writer on He-Man when he saw the show while in hospital, seeing how crappy the story and writing was for the episode he saw was and sending off one he wrote pretty much on the spot. He basically did it as an afterthought, and ended up getting a callback from one of the writers asking him if he wanted a job. In fact, I think it was his first writing gig, or big one at least (not quite sure about that though).

The details are a little fuzzy on the specifics, it's been at least 4 or 5 years since I read the interview, but that's basically the gist of it from what I remember.

He also did a stint on The Real Ghostbusters, during which he tried to give the characters as much backstory as he could, specifically for Winston.
