    BETA RAY BILL: Godhunter

Just cranked out this three issue mini-series; didn't realize each reprinted one of the original Beta Ray Bill stories from Walt Simonson #337-339. I didn't read those, otherwise I'd still be in the bathroom.

So this series deals with Beta Ray Bill going after Galactus for killing his people. He had a good plan, but he quickly realized that to accomplish his goal he had to compromise his noble ways and decide if the end truly justifies the means.

It wasn't a bad story by Kieron Gillen, nothing that will blow you away. I think if you enjoy the character and the cosmic side of stories you may love it. I'm not a big cosmic, Galactus kind of guy, but it wasn't bad.

Have you ever read those original BRB appearances? If not, you should. Even if it keeps you in the bathroom longer.

But then either my leg will fall asleep or my children will begin banging on the door yelling, "DADDY LET ME IN!!!"

    Then he wouldn't BRB, though.

I loved this series too. As much as I would like to see a BRB ongoing series, these minis that pop up here and there have all been top notch.

Thanks to TheKraken for the awesome sig!!

Wooing the Lady Sif and covering for Thor since 1983!

I really enjoyed this mini. Gillen's Marvel work in '09 was excellent. Patch's covers were outstanding.

That Stormbreaker mini series was amazing.

Does Beta Ray Bill still have a human half?

I loved this too, though between this and Son of Hulk, poor Galactus is really getting on people's bad sides again lol.
