We've had a great showing every week so far with a variety of styles and takes on these classic characters.
This week we are going to do our final Avenger (for a little while) and redesign:

HAWKEYE!

Travis gets us started, quickly! I love how you took the medieval archer look and advanced it farther. I kind of feel like, for the body, that would be the approach that Alex Ross would take to the character. Cool stuff!

I started thinking about this when that argument over his costume broke out when they were announcing the new Avengers team, so I have some ideas... perhaps tonight! Got us off to a nice start, Travis.

That's been the impetus for all these Avengers redesigns so far!

Yah Travis! Way to get us started.

Like a "Longbow Hunter" version of the character with a nice combo of hard materials and fabric.

One tweak, I would make the forearm guard on his left, bow, arm the darker purple so that it breaks up the symmetry of the design.

I tried to break up the symmetry with the texture, but I'm feeling you on the color.

I had a hard time with this, since Green Arrow has really done all the possible permutations of the "archer" archetype.

All true - I'm going to try to leave the archer side behind and just come up with a "battling hero" costume that reflects where I imagine Clint to be in his self-image as Heroic Age begins.

Plus, besides the purple and H he doesn't have as many iconic elements as the Big 3.

Here's mine. I'm sick in the head, so I thought it would be a cool idea to try and incorporate Native American elements from Clint's dreaded BWS designed "Indian" costume. I wanted to distance him from the Medieval archer/Robin Hood costume aspects that the Green Arrow really has cornered the market on. So I thought instead of him being influenced by Errol Flynn, he'd be inspired by Last of the Mohicans, which makes sense, considering his name. He's got warpaint to give him his eye thingies, and a bandana because you've got to throw that "H" on his head.
