I've been watching Frasier and tonight when an episode ends the next one automatically starts 20 seconds later. Is this new? First time I've noticed it.

Yeah, the Patton Oswalt episode. In the episodes before that, Whedon and Co. were trying to do fulfill the wishes of the Network (stand-alone episodes, mission-of-the-week stuff), and by episode six, they realized they couldn't do that very well, so they just went ahead and tried to steer it back into a show they wanted to make.
It is a recent change.Originally Posted by stephenp01

Shame I got spoiled on something major, but really, can you complain when you've waited until 5 seasons in to start watching one of the most talked about shows in years? I'm lucky I don't know more than I do. Gotta hurry through these!

Keith Lowell Jensen: "Michael O'Connell said to say hi to you."
Bobby Slayton: "Who the fuck is Michael O'Connell?"
Keith Lowell Jensen: "Uh...you did a show with him a couple of weeks ago? Comedian in a wheelchair?"
Bobby Slayton: "Oh yeah! I fucking LOVE that guy!"
The Weather Man: Not an easy watch, but really well done, and looks amazing thanks to Verbinski's style. Nic Cage's character is someone who has always taken the easiest route and is now floating through life half-asleep. I couldn't even really tell if he wants to wake up or if he's content wallowing in self-pity doing a half-ass job with everything, from his work to his kids. Michael Caine holds the movie together as the father who is disappointed with his son, but not going to run his life for him.
Reminds me a little of the Kasdan's "Accidental Tourist" and the Coen Bros. "The Man Who Wasn't There".
